Malibu to the Palos Verdes Peninsula
Junk Removal Service Areas: Westside & South Bay
We're based in Santa Monica and run the coast from Malibu and Topanga down through Venice, the Marina and the beach cities to the Palos Verdes Peninsula, plus the hills from Brentwood to Beverly Hills. Every area below has its own page with local bulky-item rules, access notes and the services that come up most there.
Why each area gets its own page
Junk removal in Los Angeles isn't one job. Santa Monica caps its free bulky-item program at three pickups a year and charges by the hour after that. Manhattan Beach limits items to 150 pounds. Malibu splits its trash service between two haulers at John Tyler Road. Marina del Rey towers need loading-dock reservations and certificates of insurance. The Palisades and Malibu are in a rebuild phase after the January 2025 fires, with debris-flow risk elevated for this El Niño winter. Those differences change what we bring, how we park and where the load ends up, so each page spells them out instead of pretending the Westside is one place.
How far we go
Our trucks start in Santa Monica, so the core Westside (Venice, Mar Vista, West LA, Brentwood, Culver City, the Marina) gets the earliest same-day slots. Pacific Palisades, Topanga and Malibu are 20 to 40 minutes up the coast; the beach cities and Torrance are 25 to 35 minutes south; the Palos Verdes Peninsula is 40 to 55 minutes. All of them are priced the same way, from a photo, with travel built into the number. If you're just outside these areas, text us anyway. We make exceptions for larger jobs close to the line.
One crew, every neighborhood
We don't subcontract. The people who answer your text are the people who load the truck, which is why we can tell you on the phone whether the alley behind your Ocean Park duplex will fit the truck or whether we'll be carrying from the street. Where a service works differently in one place, like construction debris in Pacific Palisades or furniture removal in Marina del Rey, that area's page links to a dedicated local page.
Service-area questions
Do you charge more for Malibu or Palos Verdes?
Drive time is built into the photo quote, so the number you get already reflects where you are. There's no separate travel fee added at the door.
I'm in a neighborhood that isn't listed. Can you still come?
Usually, if you're between or next to the areas on this page. West Hollywood, Inglewood and Hawthorne, for example, are just outside our regular routes but we take bigger jobs there. Text a photo and your address and we'll tell you yes or no within the hour.
Which areas get same-day pickup?
All of them when you text before noon and we have a slot, but the core Westside near our Santa Monica base is the most reliable for same-day. Coast and South Bay jobs are often same-day too, depending on where the trucks already are.
Do you serve apartments and condos as well as houses?
Yes, and most of the Westside is apartments. We handle elevator reservations, loading docks, walk-ups and HOA rules, and we can send a certificate of insurance to your building ahead of time.
Do you work in the Palisades and Malibu fire-rebuild areas?
Yes, for rebuild-phase debris, storm debris and household junk. We don't handle hazardous fire ash or burned-structure debris; those were cleared under government programs. See the Pacific Palisades and Malibu pages for specifics.
Ready when you are

Snap what's going, text it over, and we reply with a clear price, usually within the hour. No visits, no hourly rates, and if the load differs from the photos we re-quote before we lift anything.
